Members of the ‘Biotech Badger’ community are invited to a special evening of social and professional networking. This event will convene in Element Hall, a dazzling new gathering space that recently opened in University Research Park.

The evening will feature notable guests and keynote speakers.
Zach Ellis Jr. (Class of 2013) will be in town from Houston, Texas to receive the Wisconsin Alumni Association’s inaugural ‘Luminary Award‘. Nominated by the biotech program for this award, Zach will join us to reconnect with everyone and celebrate this acknowledgement.
Next, a panel discussion with Lisa Johnson, Wendy Harris, and Kurt Zimmerman will be led by Aaron Olver to share details about the U.S. Federal Tech Hub Phase 1 grant awarded to BioForward in November 2023. A follow-up Phase 2 Tech Hub grant application was submitted on February 28, 2024 to fund $70 million of proposed statewide projects in biotechnology and clinical research.
